A dehumidifier is installed with its own outlet, and a high-water alarm and a thermo-hygrometer are put in place. There are several other add-on services available with this plan.
The BETTER option includes cleaning out the crawlspace, sealing vents, and treating the soil to kill microbes. Additionally, a dehumidifier is installed, and a plastic liner is sealed to the floor. This vapor barrier, plus, plan does not include sealing the walls.
The GOOD option in our CrawlSpace Care plan is the option which includes crawlspace cleanout and a moisture barrier protection liner. Vents that open and close based on temperature are part of this plan.
